Two Little Monkeys accepts clothing year round (there are some exceptions), however due to our inventory changing daily  - we require that you call or email us to be sure we are accepting your specific types of items before you bring them in, since we buy based on our needs. 

Our procedures for purchasing items are as follows: 

You can simply bring in the items we are currently looking for, Tuesday-Saturday 10-5:30pm. Depending on the amount brought in, you may be asked to leave your items for 1-2 days. During that time, we will research the items for recalls and retail information. We will then email or call you with an offer of store credit or cash. If you accept our offer, we take ownership of the items and prepare them to be put on the sales floor (you can then pick up the cash or store credit, as well as any unwanted items). If you do NOT accept our offer, we will need you to come pick your items up within 48 hours, as we do not have the storage space to accommodate items that we do not own.

What we accept:


  • Will NOT be accepted in garbage bags.

  • Make sure they are items that we are accepting.

  • Freshly laundered...because no one wants to buy dirty clothes.

  • Folded, wrinkle free, without stains, odors and pet hair.

  • With zippers, buttons and other fasteners present and in working order.

  • Free of tears, fading, and pilling.

  • Shoes should be in new or barely worn condition.


Toys, strollers, car seats and other baby  gear:


  •  MUST be cleaned before they are brought in

  • Must contain all parts (including batteries, if applicable).

  • Are Assembled (if applicable).


We check all items for safety recalls using the guidelines set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission at: 



Items we do not carry:

  • Stuffed Animals

  • Breast pumps

  • Furniture/decor items

  • Maternity Clothing

  • Character clothing (i.e Barbie, Hello Kitty, Spiderman, Mickey)

  • Electronic books/gaming systems

We offer two options:

  • Store Credit:

  • You will receive 50% of the purchase price up front

  • Cash or Check: 

  • You will be paid 30% of the selling price up front.

  • Any consignment item (at our discretion) that we price over $100, you will be paid 50% once the item has sold.

  • Any single item over $200 you will be paid 60% once the items has sold.
